On Wednesday 17th September we welcomed Georgette Vale who became Julian of Norwich, the first known authoress in the English language. She then became Margery Kemp the first known auto- biographer in English. Whilst Julian remained enclosed in a small cell Margery travelled widely in this country and across Europe. A very informative and enlightening performance.
Our next meeting will be our Christmas evening on the 17th of December at 7.00 pm in Methodist Hall, when we will be entertained by Watton Shantymen along with mince pies and non-alcoholic mulled wine. The cost for this meeting will be £5 for members and £6 for non- members.
