January Meeting 2026
Our first meeting of the year was a Members Evening. This was where members talked about a subject of their choice.
Our first was from the chairman John Kerr who gave a talk entitled “Scouting in my life”
He told us of how through scouting his parents met and then on his roles from the age of 8 when he joined as a Cub Scout in East London then when moved to Norfolk got involved with the local group and activities with the county including being involved with the Jamborees held at the Norfolk Show Ground.
Other topics covered were: –
Time working in South Africa.
A Plane crashing on your House.
Walking for Health.
Also a play and several readings
This was an enjoyable and varied evening.
